“If possible, please try to arrive at the Albuquerque Sunport by 12:00, so we get to Ghost Ranch sooner. It is a 2½–hour transport between points. Often there are some people in a larger group who arrive at 1:00 or 1:30 p.m. Of course, this means the ‘early birds’ have to wait a few hours for the last passengers. Ideally, at the very latest we will be leaving the Albuquerque Sunport by 2:30 p.m. to get everyone to their rooms at Ghost Ranch before dinner starts at 5:30 p.m.

“If you can only get a later flight in the afternoon, here are a few options:

  1. Come in a day early and stay in a hotel close to the airport. I can pick you up at your hotel either before or after I pick up the larger group at the airport.
  2. Come in a day early and take Sandia Shuttle to Santa Fe and stay in a hotel there. Reservations are needed, and the cost is $30/person for the hour transport; call 888-775-5696. Sandia Shuttle drops off at nine different hotels near the historic Santa Fe Plaza. I will pick you up in Santa Fe at your hotel after gathering everyone in Albuquerque.
  3. If you come in later in the afternoon on the same day everyone else arrives, and you want to get to Ghost Ranch in the evening, then I again suggest taking the Sandia Shuttle into Santa Fe. Ask to be dropped off at La Fonda, a hotel near the Plaza, where they will temporarily care for your luggage for $5. You can stroll the shops or get a bite to eat in the area while you wait for me to come pick you up later. The timing of your pickup depends on departure from Ghost Ranch after dropping off the larger group.

“As long as the timing allows, I also can pick up people at the Santa Fe airport, as it is on the way between Albuquerque and Ghost Ranch.

Sunday, May 7, 2017

Please be sure to book your departing flight after 4:00 p.m. The program at Ghost Ranch is over by 11:00 a.m., so the shuttle will depart by 11:30.

“Please feel free to call me to clarify any of the above. As an independent owner operator of an unscheduled shuttle service, I am able to adjust to whatever is needed to accommodate your transportation needs.”

Note: Contact Kevin as soon as you book your flight (or before) so he can put people together in one shuttle to decrease the cost per person. FYI, gratuities are not included in the price and are greatly appreciated.
